It's about to end and there's no update for legend of korra yet :((.
Well it's okay since I finished Book/season 1,2,3. AHAHAHA
Anywayyy...
Someone ask me, "why do you like instrumentals?"
I like instrumental not because I sing with it, I just like soothing and soft kind of music. I don't like music that is too loud, nor music with vocals--- it distracts me. In songs, I always enjoy the instrumentals. Usually, I like guitar/piano solos.
Since I like listening to instrumentals, I like to listen to Sungha Jung's videos. He's really great.
Lately I've been using photoshop often. I created logos, posters, paintings, etc. I really miss art class and computer class(Digital Art). Since when did I start Digital Art?
Well it happened years ago, when my computer is still windows xp and laptop is not so common. Probably 5-7 years ago? I'm not sure when. The first software that I use is Microsoft Paint. It's so basic --.-- . The first thing that I drew was an ant. I drew three circles, and used lines to make the legs and antennae. Then I improved, I started making hamburgers. After I got tired of hamburgers, I painted sceneries. Scenes like waterfalls, sunset, plains, mountains, farm, etc. Then weeks after, I created comics. Then everything was deleted when a technician reformatted my computer. --_-- . Sh*t. That time, I don't really have an idea that a flash drive exist.
Then after that, I have 2 years of no Digital Art. Then after that, I was exposed to adobe products. The first adobe product that I learned was illustrator. Next, I learned photoshop. Then, I learned premiere pro, then after effects, finally, audition.
I am really lucky for getting the adobe CS6. I am really thankful. Ooohhh. I have a plan next summer. I wanna make artworks and sell them somewhere. Ahahaha.

Customize
I really want to customize my things to make it "different". In my laptop, I used a picture password. It's where you can make gesture, taps, and click on the picture to access the computer. Those gestures and taps will be your password. I used this picture:
By using this, I can press my password in any of those letters and numbers.
Cool right?
I also decided to add startup sound to my laptop. I was planning to add the sound of lightsaber. However, I am afraid it might slow down my system. So never mind.
I also decided to make a logo of myself. Here is the logo:
I used illustrator for this. I find this so plain and simple, so I used photoshop to make it 3d. Here is the result:
I'm deciding if I will put this as one of my background.
The idea of this logo came when I was grade 2. Well it doesn't look like the original version but the idea is from there. Our teacher before asked us to make our own signature, I decided to use a logo. I drew a circle, in the middle of it, I drew a vertical line. To the right side, I drew three lines to form "E" connected to the vertical line and to the surface of the circle. You can actually spell my name there.
I wonder how much I grown up already? I wonder what's the difference between me when I was grade 1-3 and me now.
I am also deciding to design my own room, but there are different factors that is stopping me from doing so:
1.) I'm lazy
- It's a tough work.
2.) The paint
- I will use a lot!
- It has smell
3.) I might destroy my room
4.) Of course I'm not allowed to have a mural there! Geez!
I bought a plain pencil case. I was planning to customize it , but NEVER MIND.

Back to photoshop.
Ahh finally, I painted in photoshop already. It feels great after finishing this. I feel like it's been a long time since I painted in photoshop. Photoshop is my friend.
I'll name this painting as Hate.
It's like a carnivorous plant living in a dark place. It has tentacles, sharp teeth, and a big mouth.
The plant is full of hate. Try to check it upside down. It's smiling right? It only represents that the way you feel affects your reality. The way you feel about things affects the world around you. If you check it at a normal view, you will see that he's really mad, therefore, the background is also dark.
The plant is angry. He wanted to control anyone who gets too close around him. He's an introvert, I can say.
But what does the light inside him represents? It shows the good side. Everything in this world may have different perspective. Also it represents the opportunity to change. Everything and everyone is free to change.

I think, I really nailed the tones and shadow of this thing. This is my second favorite.
I aimed to make this more realistic, and cinematic in some ways. I made a great contrast with this one. If you will notice, there is a great contrast between the turquoise and black.
I really wish to make some more of this.
This painting is a soldier, a futuristic one. He has those cool helmet, and also a robe. (It's hard to draw armor so I just replaced it with robe.
There nothing special with the background. It's just a gradient. However, I made sure that it will fit the character. And I think it looked good with that background.
Now who's that person again? That's me.
This is the time when truth punch me in the face. The helmet represents the things that I think, or see. The helmet gives me a different view of reality, a brighter view. The way how the helmet makes me hear and see is different from what is really happening. It gives me a false belief.
Next, look what is inside the robe, it's black. There's no armor there, or any body. It represents the sadness that I experience.

Here is one of my artworks. I feel like going back to photoshop this sem break, but I'm afraid I forgot how to paint there. It been a long time. The last time I painted something in photoshop is during the summer break, it was the Dragon. After that, I focused on other things.
But let me describe this artwork deeply.
This is the most planned artwork I did. Why? It's because most of it is duplicated. It's the most complicated artwork I have.
We all know that in photoshop we have layers. I did this layer by layer. What you see now is very different from the structure of this artwork. There is something beneath. Behind that blue thing, you'll see wires and pipes. Beneath those wires/pipes, you'll see the cog/gears. Beneath them, you'll see even more wires and pipes. However, there is something I covered there. Behind those wires, you'll see the names of people I trust and love. They are the people I will never forget no matter what.
Ever wonder why they are covered by machines? That represents me.
I don't really show affection to others when other people is around. It gives me shame. --_--
But I'll admit it, I'm not even shy to tell to my crush that I like her.
It's just that, I'm not comfortable when other people is there.

It is really different to be in a sem break. Things feel lighter. No pressure, hw, and deadlines. You have all the time to do what you want. But I realize I don't really like it. I don't really know what's missing in sem break that is in a usual school day.
I did a lot of things today. First, I played sports. Then, I finished fahrenheit 451 After lunch, I went to the mall. When I came back, I practiced guitar. At last I touched my gadget to surf the internet.
With the overview of my activities today, I can say that I did a lot of things. Well, it just don't seem right. Something is really missing.
Ah I know!

We just won the UN for the 2nd time!!

This UN Culminating activity might not be the most exciting. I still prefer the old version of our UN though. I still like to dance or decorate our room. The UN culminating activity for us is much serious and realistic. I am just so proud of grade 8, we are the youngest, but we can still compete with the seniors.
It's really hard. I don't know where to start. But once you get the hang of it, things will go smoother and lighter.
During the presentations, I tried not to be nervous. I think, I was calm during the presentation. Well, to be honest, I don't really get the presentation of the other organizations. I can understand, but I didn't listen at all. All I did for about 1 hour and a half is to try to be calm. I tried singing: Dalandan, dalandan, NESFRUTA! Before our turn to present, I tried to look to the audience, so when we are in front already, I won't get scared. You really have to face your weakness rather than evading them. I think, the presentation went smooth. We finished it on time!
When they announced the winners, I had a short flashback. I remembered the time where we won the presentations also. The difference is, we were so nervous that time. Hihihi. My legs were shivering throughout the whole presentation.
What I only don't like about the UN Culminating Activity is wearing formal attire. I'm not really comfortable with it. What I noticed this year is that, most of our activities requires formal attire --_--.
Now it's Sem Break.
Expectation: YAHOOO!! YESSSS!! FREEEE TIIMMMEEE!!!

I already foresee the possibilities,

preparing to shoot the sky,

Free Time
Lately, I'm not that busy.
Since I have more free time, I watched some of my favorite shows. I watched Avatar: Legend of Korra, Ben 10: Omniverse, Starwars Rebels.
I don't really like watching Ben 10: Omniverse. I don't really get anything from it. The reason why I watch this is because I've been watching them back when I was around grade 1-3, and I want to follow the story line. But like what I said, I don't get anything from it.
I am still in doubt if I am going to like star wars rebels. The saddest news I heard from the internet is when Disney BOUGHT STARWARS!!!!!!!!!!
NOOOOOOO!!!
And all of the star wars fans were crying.
I am not sure if Disney will make it better, or if they will just make it worst.
The thing is, right now, there's no big difference with the previous Star wars clone wars (3D animation) and the star wars rebels. I just notice some things:
1.) The design of the characters looks too kiddy.
I don't know if it is just me but I find the helmet of the storm troopers so big that it makes them look like chibi. Also, the character design looks sort of friendly. That's what I am afraid of. Disney might turn it to more of a kiddy show.
2.) The plot.
I sense something weird with the plot. It is not like the other star wars clone wars. The plot targets to teach simple moral lesson, like things that kids have to know to be considered "good". Before, they teach several philosophies about life. I think, they are targeting kids to watch the show.
Oh, forget about the statement that I said a while ago. They are making it childish now.
EWWWW!
I think Disney will make it worst!
I'm starting to hate star wars.
Legend of Korra.
This is my favorite now. Legend of Korra is the continuation of the Last Air Bender. I really like to watch Avatar before.
What I only hate about Legend of Korra is that, it happened around 1900s. If you will ask me, I still like the old version. The old version's setting is much better than the Legend of Korra's setting.
But overall, it is great!
I learn a lot from the episodes. This is one of the quotes I remembered a while ago: "When you base your expectations from what you only see, you blind yourself from the possibilities."

This is like a version of star wars already.
And this one is also great: "When we hit our lowest point, we are open to great change."
I can really relate to most of the quotes in Legend of Korra.

Movies
I really love watching movies. I really like a movie when it has good plot or good technique in cinematography.
But in this entry, I'll be on to the techniques.
Here are the Top 5 movies that I watched:
5. Smurfs
This movie has good animation for me. It looks real, really real. The animators were able to make the smurfs blend with the real environment.
I really wonder how do the actors have conversation with the smurfs. Isn't awkward? It's like talking to nothing.
Favorite part: Introduction
4. Avatar
This movie is really great. Though most of it is CGI, it didn't fail to make me amazed. The animations are really great. The camera shots are fantastic. Also, the plot is good. I like it, for it is Sci-Fi.
The plot of this movie is very dramatic. Two different species, falling in love with each other. I like drama when it is portrayed in this way. I don't like dramas when someone is in the hospital, or someone is crying all day and all night, or when someone is about to die but all they can do is to just stand there and watch the character die. I want movies showing courage or bravery.
Also, the art is also good. The characters are intricate. Also, the environment is breath-taking. Here is one sample:

3. Crooooodssss!!!!!!!!!
The croods is a nice story. It's about prehistoric times. I can't really define what's with the movie but I really like it. It has creative animation.
Favorite Part: When the moral lessons come out.
2. Planet of the Apes.(The two latest movies)
This is really cool. For me, this event is not impossible to happen.
I really appreciate the camera shots in this movie.
The CGI is also great.
The plot is cool.
Amazing.
Favorite Part: The last battle. The latest movie is sort of a cliff hanger. I want part three!!!
1. Transformers
Some really hate Michael Bay-- I don't care. I enjoy his movies even though the plot is pretty useless.
As a cinematographer wannabe, I really appreciate his styles in directing. His style is very remarkable. His camera shots is very unique. Also, he can make the environment look more dramatic, which is totally amazing.
I also like the animations. The design of the robots and ships are very complex. They really sacrifice a lot for this movie.
Favorite Part: Parts when Optimus Prime is being beaten. That is very dramatic. huhu.. I want to watch all three of them again.
Most of the movies that I watched is online. I don't really go to cinemas. Here are the reasons:
1. Money
- It is cheaper to watch online
2. Time
- I don't have time to go out
3. Convenience
- I'll just type the movie, bwalllaa, I can watch.
4. No one can go with me to watch movie.
- Everybody in the house is busy.... ALWAYS >.<

This is really cool. For me, this event is not impossible to happen.
I really appreciate the camera shots in this movie.
The CGI is also great.
The plot is cool.
Amazing.
Favorite Part: The last battle. The latest movie is sort of a cliff hanger. I want part three!!!
1. Transformers
Some really hate Michael Bay-- I don't care. I enjoy his movies even though the plot is pretty useless.
As a cinematographer wannabe, I really appreciate his styles in directing. His style is very remarkable. His camera shots is very unique. Also, he can make the environment look more dramatic, which is totally amazing.
I also like the animations. The design of the robots and ships are very complex. They really sacrifice a lot for this movie.
Favorite Part: Parts when Optimus Prime is being beaten. That is very dramatic. huhu.. I want to watch all three of them again.
Most of the movies that I watched is online. I don't really go to cinemas. Here are the reasons:
1. Money
- It is cheaper to watch online
2. Time
- I don't have time to go out
3. Convenience
- I'll just type the movie, bwalllaa, I can watch.
4. No one can go with me to watch movie.
- Everybody in the house is busy.... ALWAYS >.<

Guitar
Music have never been my jam before.
What made me turn to guitar class?
Well, something depressing happened to me. I decided to make music as a treatment.
I listen to Jason Mraz. He has a lot of good songs. His songs are very motivating! It makes me have more confidence. It boost my mood!
Starting those days, I became curious with my guitar. I watched video tutorials of guitar,but I don't think it's enough. Therefore, when the opportunity to learn guitar, I grabbed it. I really don't regret joining this class.
The first songs that I learned are All of Me, I'm Yours, Fall for You, Lucky, and the introduction of let her go. I started with chords, then later on, I moved to fingerstyle!
Fingerstyle is a technique in where the guitarist use his or her fingers to play guitar; no strumming. One of the most famous guitarist who practice this style is Sungha Jung. He is really great! Here is one of his performance!

Sir Joseph also do this style. I think, I am really fortunate to have Sir Joseph as my teacher since he can do fingerstyle.
And the quarter exam will happen tomorrow. I wish I can play well. We are going to play Romance, a classical guitar song. The first page is easy, I can play it fluently already. However, I am having trouble with the second part; I can't play it fluently.

It's been a long while since I updated my blog. I am not in the mood to do this, but I have nothing to do. I'll just push through this blog.
Some people say, they don't want to live forever. Whatever their reason is, I don't care. I wanna live forever, or not really forever, but for around 500 years, or even a thousand years.
I really wanna see humanity discover new discoveries. I want to stay tuned to science.
I wanna live until:
1.) We found or communicated with aliens
2.) Time Travel is possible
3.) Aging can be altered
4.) Interstellar Travel is possible
5.) Everyone has phones/watch with holograms on it.
6.) Everyone has 3d printers
7.) we found second earth
If you can notice, we can only see most of them in sci-fi movies.
But I believe that there is a thin gap between sci-fi and reality. We might only see this in today in sci-fi, but maybe tomorrow, next year, or after a decade, maybe one of these is possible already.
I don't really like when something limits my learning, especially time. Time is very powerful. I am afraid of time.

Sleep
Why are there people who can stay up all night? I can even stand a 2 hours of sleep. I wish I don't need to sleep.
This week is a very busy week. The quarter exams are coming!
I really hate it when the clock drops at 9:30. That time, I start to yawn. I can't focus to what I am doing, so I don't have choice but to sleep. If only I have more time to do something, then I can achieve something good. If I don't sleep, I don't need to worry about finishing my task on time, but all I worry about is the quality of my work.
Scientist still don't know the reason of why humans have to sleep. What they know is the bad effects of not sleeping like Insomnia.
However, there are some cases where some people don't sleep for years. The part of their brain that is responsible for sleeping is shut down. I think that will be beneficial for me.
Staying up all night reminds me of vampires. I don't really have strong knowledge about vampires but I know that they can be scary and terrifying, or cool. In movies, sometimes vampires are scary, and sometimes they're cool.
I wonder if someone, who is crazy enough, can make us not sleep for a week, month, or years. Is someone making an effort to do that? If I have a chance to find a way not to sleep, I will grab that opportunity.
Time to say good bye to you now. I need to have a proper sleep for tomorrow. See ya whenever I feel like seeing ya!

Friday
This day was so tiring.
I just taught for two periods but it seems like I've been working for more than a day. Before I can go to school 30 minutes earlier than what I used to do, I have to make sure I am prepared for class. I have to cut, write, plan, etc. to make sure there won't be any problems in my class.
However, the best part of this activity is teaching. Yes it's hard to prepare, but you can forget all about that when you see your students smile. You will really wish to always see that in their face. The kids made my day. They are amazing in many ways.
The teachers' job is hard. The only way we can make them feel lighter is to show how thankful we are for having them. I would like to give appreciation to the teachers around the world, and to those teachers that existed years ago. You make us stay up all night because of projects and exams (But I haven't tried that. It seems like I"m going to experience that this school year.) You make our minds boggle during the exams. You make us see our dreams closer to our hands.
