Why are we here?

Why are we here? Why are humans here? What are the possible reasons why we existed in this complex universe?

We are complex organisms. We are capable of understanding things that cannot be done by other organism that we know. We use tools that are capable enough to make our limitations smaller.We are organisms that are capable of adapting to most of the places here on earth.  As general, are we here to study the universe? Can we go beyond of what we can do? Is it our main goal of our existence? Probably yes.
We could probably be here to survive. My teacher said that the main goal of an organism is to propagate and to survive/adapt to the changes of the environment. Well that is true. Humans might be here because of our demand to survive. We might be shaped like this because we wanted to adapt to the environment.
However, there are many other theories that are not supported by any evidence but could actually be true. Like for example: We are experiments that are created by a more complicated and advance species. But aside from those extraterrestrials theories, I am much disturbed by another theory. We created our own universe or I/you created the universe. Imagine that you are just imagining this world. What would happen if you'll be gone, will the universe in your perception is still there? Both no and yes. No because you will die and you will no longer receive any information, and yes because we might create death as imagination. What if every concepts of the universe like time and space is created by your illusion/imagination. But this is more disturbing: What if you are alone. What if everyone around you is just the creation of your imagination. What if the basis of the universe is you. What if the universe is you?
It is not testable but it might be true. There are other doors that we have to see, we shall not focus on one.
